1. Use of the Website and Services

• Accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians on behalf of students. There is no direct minimum age for students to participate, provided a parent or guardian manages the account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your username and password.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information during the registration and checkout process.
• You may not use our website for any unlawful or unauthorized purposes.

2. Code of Conduct

Students and parents must follow academy rules, including but not limited to:

• No use of cheating software or unfair assistance during games or assessments.
• No abusive language in chats, classes, or any academy platforms.
• No sharing of account credentials with unauthorized individuals.
• No misuse of academy tools, LMS, or game features.
• Respectful behaviour towards coaches, students, parents, and staff at all times.

3. Disciplinary Action and Termination

• If a user violates the rules, the academy may issue a warning or temporary suspension.
• Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension or banning.
• The academy reserves the right to terminate or suspend user accounts if users violate academy rules, misuse the platform, share account access, use cheating tools, behave abusively, or engage in activities that harm the academy, students, coaches, or platform.
• No refund will be provided for accounts suspended or banned due to rule violations.

4. Intellectual Property

• The academy owns all content provided on its platform, including courses, puzzles, videos, study materials, and digital resources.
• Users are not allowed to download, copy, share, resell, or redistribute any content without written authorization from the academy.

5. Product Information, Services, and Pricing

• We offer services such as physical and online classes, LMS courses, premium courses, Master Race assessments, and training schedules.
• We strive to provide accurate service descriptions and pricing. However, we do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of such information.
• Prices and fees are subject to change without notice.

6. Payments and Auto-Renewal

• By placing an order or registering for a class, you agree to pay the total amount specified.
• We use PayHere to process payments securely. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.
• We accept payments in LKR and USD.
• Some payments, especially subscription-based services and monthly class fees, may be auto-renewable. Users can cancel auto-renewal or subscriptions at any time through their dashboard or subscription area.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• Class schedules may change due to academy requirements, coach availability, event schedules, or other operational reasons.
• The academy does not guarantee specific chess rating improvements or tournament results.
• In no event shall Caissa Chess Private Limited, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
